Springvale Shooting Range is open every day of the week. The facility, which includes a licensed bar, lounge and restaurant, caters to .22LR rimfire rifles at 50m. It also has 25-50m pistol ranges and a 10m air rifle range. The range hosts several competitions throughout the week. It also caters to corporate and group bookings, such as scout groups, birthday parties and community activities.

The 50m main range is available to the public and members. Unlicensed shooters are welcome to use the facility under the guidance of our experienced Range Officers/instructors. All visitors to the range will be inducted and instructed on the safe handling and use of firearms. Loan firearms are available at the range.

In recent months the use of .17HMR and .22MAG has increased on the main range, resulting in an increased noise level that negatively impacts the amenity of patrons on and around the main range.

Commencing on Sunday, 14 April 2024, rimfire rifles other than .22LR will not be permitted to be used on the Main Range at any time. Range 6 has been made available for these rifles (e.g. .17HMR, .22MAG, etc.) on Sundays (except for the first Sunday of the month) to facilitate this change.

The allocation of a dedicated range (Range 6) will allow patrons with non-.22LR rimfire rifles to continue to pursue their interests in a safe, supportive and accessible environment.

Joining SSAA at the range will give you free range entry for that day.
