The Mildura Military Rifle and Military Pistol Club was the first sub-club of the SSAA Mildura Branch. The inaugural meeting was held at the Mildura South Football Clubrooms with about 20 to 30 members present. The group had working bees to build shooting lines and shade cover, toilet blocks and BBQ areas, clubrooms and target frames. The Military Rifle and Pistol Club has inter sub-club shoots as well as shoots with Broken Hill, Melbourne and Shepparton. The club shoots handguns at 10am and rifles at 1pm on its designated days. A barbecue or roast lunch usually follows shooting.
