Mildura Sporting Rifle Club
The Mildura Sporting Rifle Club was established in 1991.
With the first permanent cover over the firing line on the 300m range and benches donated by members, the club started shooting Benchrest, Field Rifle and Scoped 3-Positional. The club grew in 1994 when improvements were made to SSAA Victoria’s Mildura range. The 100m and 300m mounds were brought up to standard, fold-down targets were put in at 500m and the firing line cover was extended over the full-width of the 180m firing line. The club now regularly shoots Rimfire Metallic Silhouette Centrefire Metallic Silhouette, Fly Shoot, 90m competition and centrefire to 600m.
