Deer Hunter Education Course
Course run by SSAA Victoria in conjunction with GMA.
The course comprises a classroom theory session immediately followed by a practical shoot on the range.
The Game Management Authority (GMA) enforcement officers discuss legislation, where you can lawfully hunt and answer participant questions of a legal nature.
Expert SSAA Victoria instructors with decades of deer hunting experience will guide you through the “how to” of deer hunting and will significantly shorten the learning curve for new hunters.
Plenty of practical tips on the things you need to do to be a consistently successful deer hunter.
The course is also designed to give shooters a better understanding of their firearm and covers fundamental skills such as sighting-in a rifle (which is essential before hunting).
