Due to a significant storm and closure of the Cobaw State Forest, the range is currently closed.
The Kyneton Branch caters for rimfire, centrefire and shotgun shooting at its Cobaw Range. The Branch has 100m and 200m ranges. Members and visitors have access to a barbecue, toilets and fresh water. The Cobaw range was certified for centrefire in 2016.
Directions: From Lancefield, head north along the Lancefield-Tooborac Road. Turn left at the Burke and Wills Track and head northwest about 9km, then turn left at Ridge Road and left again onto Reillys Road. Head south for about 1.8km until you reach Greenway Track. Turn left down Greenway Track and the entrance to the range is the first right.
