The 2024 SSAA SHOT Expo will be held in the Grand Pavilion and the Town Square at the Melbourne Showgrounds. The 2024 SSAA SHOT Expo will be the first major shooting, hunting and outdoor trades exhibition since 2019 and the largest exhibition of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

Featuring hundreds of brands and over 16,000 visitors across two days, the 2024 SSAA SHOT Expo is the showcase for Australian shooting, hunting, and outdoor trades.

GET THE TRAIN TO SHOT EXPO

In recognition of the huge crowd anticipated at SHOT Expo 2024, Metro Trains will be scheduling SHOT Expo special trains to operate across the weekend.

Below is the likely timetable (to be confirmed in early October)

Saturday 19 October

Trains are to operate a service from Southern Cross (Platform 8), stopping only at North Melbourne (Platform 2), en route to the Showgrounds (Platform 1).

From 08:45, provide a 40 minute service from Southern Cross to the Showgrounds. The last train is to depart from the Showgrounds at 17:15.

Note, the 17:05 train forms part of the 40 minute frequency. An additional 17:15 is to depart from the Showgrounds as the last train.

Sunday 20 October

Trains are to operate a service from Southern Cross (Platform 8), stopping only at North Melbourne (Platform 2), en route to the Showgrounds (Platform 1).

From 08:45, provide a 40 minute service from Southern Cross to the Showgrounds. The last train is to depart from the Showgrounds at 16:15.

Note, the 15:45 departure as part of the 40 minute frequency. An additional 16:00 & 16:15 are to depart from the Showgrounds as the last trains.

SHOT Expo 2024 is just four weeks away.

Get your tickets online to beat the queues, take the SHOT Expo special Metro trains to beat the traffic.

Thanks to our exhibitors, we are running SHOT Expo trivia over four weeks. You can enter every week for great weekly prizes, and all correct entries go into the draw to win a major prize pack valued at over $8,000!

Week three
