SSAA Victoria’s Shepparton Branch ran a successful ‘Women on Target’ event at the Shepparton Range at the end of April.
Over seventy ladies attended the event, and there was strong interest amongst the attendees to obtain firearm licences and keep shooting.
Women on Target is a SSAA Victoria initiative to give women the opportunity to try different types of shooting. A full-day event where women can shoot shotgun, cowgirl-style single action, hand-guns and benchrest rifles. No licences or experience are necessary.
The next Women on Target event will be held at Eagle Park (Little River) on Sunday, 29 May.
